Storage News

No room in Hobsonville Point garages leads to parking issues.

Garages being used for storage and a lack of street parking are causing residents to park illegally in Hobsonville Point. Auckland Transport (AT) recently issued tickets to car owners parked over driveways and encroaching on the footpath in Hobsonville Point. It is illegal to park on the footpath or in a cycle lane and the fine for parking on the footpath or in a cycle lane is $40.

Garages used for storage are part of the problem. Locals regularly park over their driveways due to lack of garage space.

Garages need to be used for cars rather than storage and this is where National Mini Storage can help.
